I love these spider joints. Ordered them for the first time this year. Spider Hill Prop Works (member Diabolik) are fantastic to work with. Great customer service and a great product. Easily get the angles you want without a lot of fussing around.

I use 1" for the added strength. I also heat bend the joints, but I think I will invest in a few of these couplers. I've had some of the heat bends snap in high winds. Granted, they were VERY high winds. I like how you can change the position of the joints using those couplers. I'm thinking about making a static prop that changes position every day during the month of October. Keep 'em guessing.

I asked the attractive lady down the street for her measurements. This year I think I should do body moulds for added realism.

I think there was a post which used chain link fence components to artulate joints as well. I thought the thread was bride of Articulation or someting similar.

The thread was on another forum but I borrowed a couple images of the fence toppers they used.

I also use the Spider Hill Prop Works joints. They rock!

Jaybo, I love the idea of a constantly changing prop! That could be really, really funny!!!!

Doto.... be very careful or you just might end up as a static prop.
