    For finish off effects with snow, i've had great luck with the "window" snow they sell at Christmas time in spray cans. They are usually discounted heavily after xmas. I used a couple of cans on my Frozen Frank back in 2003. Here are a few pics. Keep in mind the stuff flakes off easily, so not for a permanent prop. Lynn's freezer reminded me.

    You could always take large barrels, plastic, and take plywood and cut half circles out or one edge straight, one curved and go all around the barrel to make it round, same way a paper mache cauldren would be made. Then chicken wire, and grown fabric. I think this could work.
