I am starting to pose my walgreens skeleton for a mummy project. It will hopefully be self supporting with rebar and wire in legs and a fixed outstretched arm grasping a snake staff. My question before I snap those nice fingers off is has anyone found a good way to pose the fingers? Heat? Breaking and re-glueing? Any help would be appreciated.

I cut the fingers at the joints with an razor knife and drill small holes in each side. I then insert fine wire and secure it with hot glue. I can then pose the hands however I want and change them if I want to.

I heated them and bent the fingers but you can only bend them so much before they will break.

I was thinking I would replace mine with the hands I make in my tut.
