This tutorial that Allen H over at hauntforum did is awesome!! I didn't see it over here so thought I would post it. I didn't even know about Krampus until I saw this. What a great way to mix Christmas and Halloween!!

I've been watching Allen for awhile now. Seems like he has quite a few good tricks up his sleeve! For those of you who haven't watched him yet, you should check him out. once you start you will be looking forward to....YOUTUBE WEDNESDAY!

Heheh, I've been subbed to Allen's vids for quite a bit. He is a great source of info, no doubt! Not to mention, his subtitles are freaking hilarious!

Add me to the people who love Allen's channel. Cracks me up how he uses his workbench as his paint pallet. He just squirts the paint right on there next to the prop he's building. heh.

Yeah, I've been watching him from the beginning. It's hilarious that he uses his hand to test the heat gun. Allen if you're reading this stop doing that!!

It's rare to find someone who is willing to share what they know in a manner that is both educational and entertaining at the same time.
We are fortunate that we have people on this board as well who fall into that category. The simple fact that he adds his little side notes to the
process makes it feel as if your just standing there watching him.

Random thought...I have been wondering why, with all of the variety of stations and shows on tv. That a station like SYFY doesn't see the potential of picking some of these people up and airing them.

Honestly, I find the haunting community to be one of the most open, sharing groups I've ever seen. The best part is, it's not because of some ulterior motivation. People in the community are just genuinely wanting to help others out, even complete strangers. It's like an idealistic 60's commune, except where everyone has a focused common goal. It's pretty cool, when you stop and consider it.

I'd love to see Allen, Terra, or...take your pick, get picked up for a tv series. But, I'll say this. Being one that has been making a living at things I loved doing, I find it's not always the best idea to make your hobby's your job. When they start to feel like work, your interest will wain quickly. Worse, you may even begin to resent what you once loved.
