    Hey all,

so here we go first prop build of the year! I will be updating this thread all throughout the porject with photos and videos and information on the build!
So this prop was inspired by doctor grims worm food prop. I took his basic concept and applied some ideas and am now building a full size swaying girl.
The hanging prop i will be using is from creepy collection and was incorporated into my haunt last year. Everyone was scared of her so i knew i needed to animate her.
She is in the picture below.
Enjoy my progress pics and i hope you like the build! Feel free to comment or ask any questions.
    Thanks,
    Chris

Today i started to work on the mechanics part and where everything will be contained. I took doctor grims basic idea. sorry;( The wiper motor is from monsterguts and the one in the pic isnt the one ill be using i decided to make the mechanics shelter while the motor and supplies were being shipped. The pics below will show you start to finish the mechanics shelter.
The main idea is it will be like a dress form on a pole. under the bottom of the wooden base there will be a flange which will connect to a36 in metal pole that will screw into another flange at the bottom to a base that will lie on the ground. the wiper motor will be connected to a crank arm that a pvc pipe rests on and "sways" inside the gaping hole you see in the last picture! great progress today! Im hoping to get the wiper motor in soon!

Thanks for the comments dave and osenator!
So heres day 2! I was hoping the motor would come last night but no such luck! Anyway today im going to be doing pvc restriction and building the base and body!
The pvc restriction is basically 2 "L" braces that hold the voat hanger and will run through the pvc to make the sway motion and stop it from slipping!
Silly me last night i made a home depot run and forgot to pick up the 3 foot galvanized pipe! I paid for it but never picked it up at checkout! Im going back today to get that and 2 floor flanges which will be mounted to the floor base and the bottom of the wiper motor mech base. I decided to use galvanized metal pipe over pvc because i felt it was stronger. and the prop can be dissasembled at the flanges for easy storage!

Heres some pics to start off the day with the pvc restriction as well as a quick sketch to get the basic idea:
