Figured I'd make something different for Christmas, Santa falling off the roof. The head, hands and boots are carved from styrofoam blocks (freebies from Tractor Supply). The rest was the chicken wire/monster mud mixture. Merry Christmas!

That's funny. Reminds me of the animated opening credits in Christmas Vacation.

That is a very good christmas prop! Very impressive! You should join the HalloweenForums christmas site, Christmasfanclub.com and post this there!

It"s a mixture of joint compound and exterior latex paint. It's brushed on over the burlap, once it dries, it's hard. I figured out that to temporarily attached the burlap to the chicken wire frame, spray adhesive works pretty good. It will stay long enough to get the mixture on. A few pieces of wire may need to be used to hold some pieces in place however.
