I bought one of these at Harbor Freight and I love it. Great if your workpiece will not fit in the vise and quick too.

Drylok (latex) for sealing outdoor tombstones
    Box of twine rope
    Jigsaw
    Glue gun
Dremel with multi-purpose cutting attachment and all the other bits
    12' ruler
Cordless drill with hole size finder
    Hearing protection
    Eye protection
    Face mask
    Paper towels
    Caulking gun
    Scissors
Steak knife (you wouldn't believe how useful that is!)
Zip ties (small, medium and large)
    Wire cutters (GOOD ONE!)
    Needle nose pliers
Stanley SureForm Shaver (for foam shaping)
    Hammer
    Wire
    Hooks
Drywall screws (coarse thread, all sizes - these are great utility screws)
Quick Grip clamps (large and small)
    Duck tape

Not too fancy of a tool list, actually but are the tools I most reach for. If you want get really fancy you could add in an airbrush, compressor, circular saw and a band saw.
I am proud to say I have everything listed here!

It is currently on sale for $12.99.
Thanks, Bamtunebam. I've been using an industrial duty drillpress at the heavy equipment shop at work during my lunch hour (and I've gotten a few nicks and dings from not having something clamped down correctly lol). It really sucks if you're working on something at home on the weekend, and find you need to drill something, but have to wait til monday to actually do it. Actually, a vise similar to the Harborfreight vise was bolted to the table of the drillpress when I got it.

Thanks, diabolik. That looks like it would be handy for the drillpress or a workbench. I'll have to get a couple of them.
