Giving this a little bump.I just got in a hat box ghost mask that I bought from a great member here.I repainted my tombstone lifter to make him like haunted mansion type.He is in my avatar.I spotted some curtains that I want to get at family dollar that will work for my pauler(I know sp is wrong brain freeze right now.) that I am creating on my porch.
I also bought a breathing grave prop from madmax off ebay.It will look great in the graveyard and it looks pretty sweet.
I was thinking of using my hatbox ghost mask either on a pvc frame or my tombstone peeper haven't decided.

Hey.... Took me awhile to decide but I am turning one of my large bedrooms into a Haunted Mansion Room.... I have already painted 2 of the stretching portraits and Master Gracey... I painted them in Oils on Canvas... The Master Gracey is 24" x 36" and the stretch paintings are 4 x 6 foot. I am now working on the last 2 stretching portraits and then back to the changing portraits. The stretching portraits I am going to animate them by putting them on a window shade roller and motor that will lift and lower the frame. As for the changing portraits it is more difficult to do the animation since it is done on layered scrim cloth so I am using a projector with the ending frame and lightening flashes with the lights dimming will produce a changing effect on the painting itself.

I have also started sculpting the Candle holding Gargoyles They will be 20 inches tall... not including the candles... By next Halloween I plan on having all of the Portraits in Disneylands Haunted Mansion... I have the designs and will start building the 13 hour clock in Feb and for furniture I am going to be designing 2 of the red fringed chairs that are near the endless hallway.... The door exiting the room will be the same haunted doors of HM, I also will be recreating the staring busts... "Let me out" Coffin, Madam Leota and on a ledge of one of my walls I will be sculpting the singing busts... " I have the looping dvds of both...

I have added a link so that as I continue building my collection you can check by and see whats up cheers

Wow, jwproductions, that is amazing artwork. I'd pay a pretty penny (if I had a pretty penny) for those!

For a haunted mansion theme, I am on the hunt for 1) more white sheets, 2) old ornate photo frames for old b&w photos, 3) dusty old books, 4) candelabras, 5) silverplate serving pieces, 6) old bird cages, 7) apothecary jars, 8) spanish moss and spiderwebbing, 8) scary busts, 9) a junker organ or piano, 10) old fireplace mantel, 11) antique urns and vases, oh, and more skeletons! Looking forward to your progress and photos!

I did a golic wedding theme last year (kind of a similar concept), lot's of candalobras creates a nice creepy ambience. With that lot's of chesecloth and spider webs. Finally bustes animated or static and pillars can help finish the theme.

I love the haunted mansion theme, which is why I'm remodelling my house to have more of the HM look. I've been drawing the plans for a year now and just started rebuilding the garage area.
