was wondering if anyone has made halloween props that will double as christmas props such as nightmare b4 christmas or the grinch or maybe something like the christmas carol with ghosts from the past and future etc. that can be left up or re-organised for christmas props.
im starting to re-think my plans for next year of using double duty props to incorporate them so this should help for storage and extend the enjoyment of the props that were created from long hard hours and weeks of work.
would love some ideas and suggestions please!
examples from the christmas carol are...... old time deco items such as....old clocks, candles, clothes, old b/w family photos, different ghosts set in scenes to represent past, present and future
any thoughts or ideas?????

I made an Ebenezer Scrooge tombstone last year for Christmas and I used it this Halloween too.
I made a Christmas Teeter-Totter a few years ago, then also made a Halloween themed Teeter board that I could switch out and mount on the mechanism.
One other thing that's good for both holidays is the Tombstone Peeper. You can switch out your skull head for something else--elf, reindeer, Ghost of Christmas past, etc.

im thinking i might have seen someone on here who made a mosolium for halloween and then also made it reversable to be a gingerbread house for christmas...seems like they used black plastic to line the walls inside to disguise the interior walls so the other theme could not be seen....i just cant find it yet.
other ideas might be to make fake rocks/bolders and have a peeper pop out from behind it with interchangable heads and outfits such as a skeleton and an elf.
hansel and gretal scene for halloween and adjust it later for christmas to be gingerbread house with giant gingerbread people around.
my bloody valentine movie theme with coal mine and carts for halloween and later change to a christmas train filled with presents and mine covered in "snow" to be something like the north pole santa shop hidden within the cave or iceburg.
any more ideas anyone?

???? What is this "CHRISTMAS" thing you are speaking of????
JK, It's an interesting concept but I don't decorate for xmas. I do like the mine cart/train idea of yours a lot. I also think I could sell that idea to the wife.
