Looking for a good way to set up a "swoop" rig in my haunt, as well as a bungee slingshot type of rig and could use any help or direction in where to start!

I have not done this but a friend of mine did. He had the advantage, his was inside of an old gymnasium. They bolted a pulley to the ceiling, put a harness on the flying actor and used counter weights on the other end. The actor would jump off a 10 foot tall platform where she was hidden. The counter weights on the rope would slow her descent so she swung out over the crowd. She would hit the ground behind the crowd and jump, the counter weights would pull her back up to a place on the wall she could grab onto. She would then "hang" on the wall looking down at the crowd.
The counterwieghts were the hardest for him to setup, getting the weight right so she would go down, but could also fly back up when she jumped. I think they ended up with 10 pounds more counterweight than her body weight????
He also setup a basic plain zipline his actors could slide from one point to another. Just thick steel cable stretched tight between 2 points, a harness with a pulley system attached they could "fly" with.

that sounds intense! I have to try it!
