I think she looks excellent just like she is. At first I thought the motor was way too slow, but when I see her movement she definitely looks demented and creepy at that speed.
    Great job on the head/face!
    Really a scary expression.
    Super job!

    Thanks John.
I see the setup of the linkage to the motor, but I'm unclear on the connection higher up where the vertical bar pivots.

The vertical bar pivot is in the lower pic.

The vertical bar- lets call it the spine, pivots on the waiste bar.

The waiste bar has a "U" bracket bolted to it so it pivots right & left.

The spine bar is then bolted inside the "U" bracket so it pivots forward & back.

The characters upper body rod fits into the lower spine tubing.

For mounting the motor there is another metal bracket welded or bolted below the waiste bar.

The waist bar and motor bracket are welded or bolted to the steel legs of the character.

If you notice....... the pivoting spine bar is only an inch or less away from the motor shaft.

That 1 inch gives the upper body a 2.5 ft. circle of rotation.

    Hope that helps.

That's alot simplier than I had envisioned. I was in the process of designing a mechanism for this type of application. I suppose I could simplify it down to something similar to this, except use more bearings. The design I already had modeled in CAD has 14 bearings. I may be able to get away with 6 now. Thanks John

I've been wanting to use a shiatsu, but never found one cheap enough.
