    Hi Fellow Haunters!
On Halloween night, I started to come up with more ideas for next year. I would like to make hitchhiking ghost but I would like the arms to actually move. What motor do you suggest I use but is kind of cheap? Thank you for your help!

Ok, this needs a bump! This place is FULL of Haunted Mansion fans - someone's gotta know.

I'm sure I've seen some great versions on the boards done with wiper motors - let me see if I can track it down.

Here's some pics of the mechanism and heads for my version of Phantasmechanic's Hitchiking Ghosts.

It was fairly easy to construct, but somewhat tricky to get aligned just right. I used it for three years without any trouble. This year one of the two air vent motors I used decided to stop working sometimes.

I am adding one to my display this year.It may have only one that moves.I did a animated plank pirate last year.I was thinking of using that prop and just rearranging it to work.Have one that moved and one or two more beside him static.I am still trying to figure out the best way to make some thumbs for my skellys since that is what I am using.
