Anyone know of a source for Orange LED light strands that hook up end to end like traditional Christmas lights? I cna get LED light strings that can hook up from one end only and they are only 30 light strands. I would like to replace my incandescent lights for next season.

I'd be interested as well. I couldn't find any in LED and ended up building a custom "extension" cord with sockets spaced properly to plug in the next string. I actually made it so on string goes one way and one string goes the other way, cutting down the number of sockets needed. Then I zip tied it all together so it's all one unit when it's time to hang it up or take it down.

In past years, I've bought several boxes of orange LED light strings from Big Lots. I think they have 70 lights to each string and you can hook them end-to-end.
Now is the time I ususally buy them at 75% off. Hurry!

I picked up orange LED light strands last year from BIG LOTS on clearance like DaveintheGrave said for practically nothing and am almost positive they are end to end. I'll go bring in a box and give you the specifics. I was only going to pick up a few boxes but they were so cheap at that point that I think I picked up a dozen or so boxes. Orange lights out the kazoo my husband said. Figured if I did a walk thru around my yard one day I could use them to mark the path and being LED could connect an absurd number of strands.

Okay here's what I bought last year, 20 boxes on clearance, reg. $6 a box, a 60 LED strand, indoor/outdoor, black wire, end to end, 14.5 feet , total 16 feet, connect up to 210 watts or 43 strands on one outlet. UL rated. Energy star rated, 3-yr warranty, Distrib by Big Lots. $1.50 per box at 75% off. GREAT DEAL! I would definitely recommend seeing what Big Lots has left of their halloween lighting this year. I was pretty stocked up in that department as you can tell so really wasn't out there looking for any more this year, but Big Lots generally has the same product in their stores for a few years in a row. Assume this is because they order in massive quantities for better pricing at their end.

I just bought some on clearance from Big Lots. 50 lights to a strand, and they can plug in from end-to-end. The regular price this year was $2.75, I got them at 50% off.

The ones for that price at my Big Lots are incandescent lights, not LED lights. I've got 2600 incandescent lights that I am trying to replace with LED lights.
