Hey, it's all good. Anything that adds to the forum, though I think you could make your own tutorial thread with those few posts. Probably help a number of folks.
Anyone know the dry time on liquid nails panel and foam? It's not on the tube or the website.Last edited by UnOrthodOx; 02-04-2012 at 01:48 PM.

It strikes me as being a 4 hour initial skin cure, and 24 hours for full pot life Unorthodox. But it's been a few years, and those numbers may be off a bit.

2 hours seems to be the skin cure. Found something that says 7 days for full cure.

Lots of boring stuff.
Toying with the idea of making it a vortex styled chiller instead of the reverse flow. Then I can get more even exit flow in the center. (just leftover pipe, deciding which size I'm going to need for the final version, but want to buy the new fog machine first.)
Some shots to give you an idea of the dimensions. Planning to make a skeleton, but may as well throw a wally on there for reference. Talia is turning 5 soon. Wondering if it's too tall...
Chiller side not built yet, no ice, nothin. Just the pipe to see how it centered.

Well, everything's kinda on hold until I get my order from Hot Wire Foam Factory, so I've gone back to researching the whole decoration of the thing.
And, I think we've found our answer. Searching for garden statues I could cut up, I ran across Pleurants. Weeping figures common to French tombs.

Oooooh, yeah. That's something I can monster mud easy enough, they are fitting for the tomb, creepy in their own right, and non-religious in their connotation.

Starting to get the transi together. At a point where I'm waiting for things to dry, so figured may as well post.
So, to recount. Primary inspiration for my transi is these two.

However, because I enjoy it, and it saves me from doing ears, I chose this style face.

I still want the shroud from the other two, so it'll be some kind of menagerie.
Little Great stuff to get the proper support and give the thing an overall height and support.
If you're thinking that's not enough ribs, you're right, but I chose to do that to get better definition when I started the corpse/sculpt/I got really no idea what to call it.
