Nice. I have made 5 sections of fence over the last 2 yrs. I am thinking about adding columns and a gate for next years display.

Beautiful! Those look about as real as they come!

Wow, those are wonderful! Columns are on our to do list for this coming year. I love the way yours look. Are those electrical lights or battery operated candles? OOPS I did it again, I wrote this (Ghouliet) I am mistakenly logged in as lil ghouliette. Sorry.

lil(whoever you'd like to be today) the candles are battery powered, available everywhere, pretty inexpensive now. Wife found them online for a pretty good deal. The frame is just 1 1/2 in furring from the depot. I made them out of 1 1/2 in white foam, cut the grout lines in with a soldering iron, then textured the foam with a small plumbing torch. The most time was spent jointing the edges where they meet to make the rocks look like they overlapped each other. I attempted to use great stuff foam to fill the gaps, but I got so much expansion it pushed the joints apart. Finally I just finished averything with monster mud, and did the faux painting to make it look stony. Thx for the comp. on the photo, my kodak has a self timer, and a setting for a long exposure time. I tried 2, 4, and 8 second exposures, I think that one was a 4 second.

    Holy craaaaaaaaaap.....

Now its enough to mention that the stone work and those wrought iron candle scones look really great, but putting it in the middle of all that foliage makes them look ANCIENT!!! Forgotten, overgrown, out of time and memory.... TOO perfect a place to put them!!!

Location location location! And the crows. Heh heh. LIKE.

I want some up close detail shots of your stonework. From a distance they look FLAWLESS. Add finials to the gate, and a wrought iron archway, and you have FIRST PLACE.

Now I wanna go back and modify a LOT of my archway's design.... especially those iron candle holders....
