I built this stirring witch prop for Halloween 2010, but I never was satisfied with how it originally came out. It was, afterall, my very first animated prop Ive made. Therefore it was resigned to the corner of the graveyard last year. This year I did a complete rebuild of her and I am very pleased with how she turned out. Unfortunately I suck at filming and the night time video with the cauldron and glowing hot coal effect all lit up didnt come out at all! So heres a daytime video.
Let me know what you think.

Looks really good! I have been wanting to make one for the last couple years but I've been too lazy. I've probably got everything to do it other then a caldron.

You should Resands! I ended up modeling mine after the Cauldron Creep design. That design is way simpler than the boxy design I originally used to make her.

Do you have any pics of it at night, since the video didn't turn out?
And nice job.

The face! Where did the face come from? Is that a custom built one (clay or something) or a mask?
The whole thing is awesome. I normally dislike moving props, but that one is smooth and the multiple movements are great.

It was originally a hanging witch prop I took apart for this prop. Really wish I could sculpt something like that though!
Heres a link for the original prop-http://www.halloweenadventure.com/ca...ht-up-eyes.htm"By the pricking of my thumb....something wicked this way comes"

Wow.. The movement on that is great!!!!
I'd love to see how you built the mechanisms to achieve that kind of movement.
At the risk of sounding like a perv.. any pics of her undressed?
thx.
