Well, the foggers checked out fine, but I discovered I don't have enough fog juice to make it through tomorrow.I thought I had another gallon, but I was wrong. Needless to say, many dirty looks from the wife who has been looking forwarward to ground hugging fog! I can't find a local distribtuor for Froggy's, the juice we typically use, and there's no way I can order some tonight and have it shipped here by 5PM tomorrow.
Does anyone know of a Houston distribtuor for a good water based fog juice? I see one company that has Houston stores sells American DJ Dense Fog Juice - anyone have experience with that? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I'm not sure but you might be able to pick some good fog juice at guitar center. I live in Houston but I typically just use the regular stuff from the store. sorry I couldn't help.

I did see that at my Guitar center or anywhere they sell dj lighting/theatircs. But what about Walmart, Target, Party City, etc...anywhere they sell fog machines seasonally. Good luck !!

The stuff at Guitar Center isn't bad, not as good as Froggy's. What sort of chiller are you using? Adding dry ice? What sort of fogger.. high powered, or smaller 400/700 watts? If you have enough freeze time on the fog, I think any fog juice will work fine.

Thanks travball5, Langolier, and andjarnic. Looks like the American DJ juice at the Guitar Center is what I'll try to get ahold of this morning.
Andjarnic, I'm using two 1000W VEI foggers - one using a 55 gallon drum vortex chiller with about 60lbs of ice, and the other just a 10 foot long perforated drainage tube with about 15 lbs of ice. No dry ice.
Thanks again.Demon Dog

Wow.. nice.. which VEI's are they? 935? I almost bought one of the 935s but no DMX.. that is before I read how to rig a manual remote to work with DMXorcsit and DMX. I was hoping the ADJ 1200HD I bought with the add on DMX remote had output control. I didn't realize it is basically on/off and duration. My VEI 960 has volume output knob so maybe the DMX can control that too.

First sympthy, then laughing at my knuckleheadedness.....bad creeepycathy!

But it all turned out well - the Guitar Center had a fog juice brand called Black Label Premium Density that gromit05 liked even better thn Froggy's Freezing Fog Juice. Thanks again to those that suggested the Guitar Center!
And I hope you eventully found your cord, Cathy.Demon Dog

You're psychic - we've had the VEI 935 for 3 seasons now. It's great fogger with zero problems sofar. This year we also got a VEI 929 to better cover the other side of our yard. Both are good, but you can see the extra quality built into the 935. No regrets on either, though...and we haven't gotten into DMX yet. The controller settings plus remote handle our simple needs.
