Are you ready for the grand prop of the year?
As promised
Amazing fun to build. This prop along with another break the barrier in terms of outputs. Broke the 2 output barrier and upped my gameThis one has 8 Outputs and they include the following:
Input 1----Blue beacon Light
Input 2----2 Electric Jacobs ladder on board
Input 3----2 E-crackers
Input 4----LED Strip
Input 5----10 LED eyes(5 each Side)
Input 6----Cylinders For Mouth
Input 7----2 LED flicker short in electrical box
Input 8----2 LED flicker short in electrical box
Added ambient sounds of electrical zaps to make it do something when not in use. This activates the electrical box that flashes to look like a short is jumping around. Might add another 7 routines but time is tight.
Mask is 5 ft tall. Mounted with 2 cylinders for mouth movement. Knife Switch is the trigger which starts the routine that is programmed into the prop controller. Routine is as follows:
Knife Switch pulled
Beacon rotates
2 E-crackers pop
Inside box flickers 4 LEDS total
LED lights provide current to the head
Electrical Current supplies power to the head
Jacobs Ladders activates above head
Eyes light up
Mouth roars from electrical current and animates until power is over
Enjoy the video
Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is so damn amazing! For some reason this prop REALLY feels scary to me! I think it is the expert use of the sound, movement, and lights together!

Was thinking of adding a relay to output fog and pipe it up to his haed. Time is tight though and I still have a 12 output scene in the works that include 3 pneumatics and motors.the only thing missing is some smoke as the monster fries! lol

Now THAT is cool and amazing. Now here come the questions...
1) Did you make the monster head yourself or can that be bought?
2) After you pull the switch what is making that 'wind up' noise?
3) What are you using for a sound system?
4) My guess is that you are using white LED's in the electrical box to mimic a short, right?
5) How long did it take you to build the whole rig?
That'll be all. Great job!

That's amazing...To make it like the big boys you need smoke and at the end when all is silent and people thinks it's over have it give out a roar with an air cannon at the same time....That's what you could do for next year because it's something new and people won't expect it....Great Job....I love it!.....ZR
