Thread: Medulsa and graveyardskull eyes

i am trying to wire up the eyes from graveyard skulls to the medulsa dmx board. I didn't get any instructions from graveyard skulls so i am need of some last minute help. The eyes are rgb led's that have for wires blk-red-blue-green and i can not figure out how to power them up.

Hi Rich,

It'd be best to talk to them about what type of eyes they included. But from what I understand, they usually ship common Anode LEDs, with only one (common) current limiting resistor. If this is what you've got, (I think....) you'll want to hook your +5V to the black wire, and the red, green, and blue wires up to the Medusa LED outputs. Just be aware, that if they're still only using one resistor to share between the three LEDs, the color mixing can be weird anytime you use any Red.
