I am using VSA with dmxorcist when I try to arm it tells me VSA file load error. Does anybody have a fix for this? I know the vsa file works, since when I manually play it all devices work as they should.

Phoenix is probably your best bet on this forum, but he's very busy too. Terra and a few others may be able to help. One thing I find.. not sure why this happens but it may be due to a driver issue.. reboot. I know it's the common answer, but if it is a driver issue, rebooting may fix it. If that doesn't, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software/drivers, that may fix it too.

I think this one is closed off, just awaiting confirmation that its working.... if anybody ever gets a DMXorcist problem with VSA files not loading or running properly, the first thing that should always be done is to send me the VSA file.
Once I have your file I can see whats going wrong and fix it.... File load problems are common because my VSA file decoder is reverse engineered, but to date there has never been a VSA file that I cant get Exorcist to read...sometime it takes a little time.....
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the Halloween market the software only really gets thoroughly tested once a year, and despite the basic program being some 4 years old, I regularly get problems with VSA files because VSA changes (V5 got released this year), and I need to redevelop the file parser to match..... I'm currently developing a much more flexible file parser that's makes reverse engineering easier.
Other changes to DMXorcist of late is that I've finally managed to create a single version that runs on both 32 and 64 bit computers, this will replace the past separate x86 and x64 installations.
