Hi there -- i am new to this awesome forum. Saw some really cool threads, and great ideas/advice from everyone.
I just finished my very first prop, which is an Axworthy. Tons of time, trial and error, and downright frustration. But after it all, it works, and looks pretty cool so says my kids and neighbors. I would love
some feeback and ideas of improvement, thanks!

Looks pretty good topshelfjunk. I just made my first AxWorthy this year as well. I had thought about the bike wheel approach but decided to go with much smaller machined nylon pulley's. Two of my 4 mounts are on bungee's and they act as your tensioner does. I also started (and am still running) a sewing machine motor, but I am finding that it is inadequate. It can only run for about 20 min before I have to shut it down or risk smoking the motor. My ghost is also somewhat heavier than yours, but I am only running one of them. I have embedded UV LED's into the skull to give it that BlackLight Glow effect. Attached is the video of mine running at night. If in the future you would like to use the nylon pulley/bungee approach, there is another poster here on Halloweenforum that made them for me. If you would like the info feel free to PM me.

Looks great! ElGuapo: I love the glow of the body your ghost and when he changes direction the eyes slowly become visible as it turns. Cool effect! My brother really wants to build one of these as well but he's stuck on the fence... I haven't tackled this kind of project yet myself but hope to next year!
