I got home yesterday, and my son told me we had our first practical test of the Doberman vibration alarms I installed in our Creature figure. My son was in his bedroom, near the back of the house, watching TV yesterday when he heard the alarms go off. No windows were open, and his TV was on, and he still heard it clearly.
He went outside and saw the lawn guys in a panic because they had tried to move the figure to trim the grass around him, and as soon as they bumped him the alarms went off and scared the crap out of them (to use their words). The alarms were still going off when he got out there, so it was less than 30 seconds (the reset time for them). The lawn guys had retreated to the street because they had no idea what was going to happen next as they thought the cops would be on the way, which is just the kind of reaction I was hoping for. My son then told them not to disturb the skeletons or they'll start screaming at them too.
For $9.99, they work very well.

lol, I love that it worked and bummed that I'm looking for something like this for use next year. Lost a few tombstones and and a neighbor who put stuff out earlier than me was completely cleaned out a week before the big day.
I may spend most of my next years budget on security since it is just too much of a bummer to watch our hard work get stolen. Thanks for posting...

Bruzilla, thanks for the update on it. If you still have the packaging for it could you post a picture of it so people know what to look for. Thanks and glad to hear that something like this work so well.

I've never heard about a Doberman alarm. After last years big rip-off, I bought some motion-detection alarms, but they went off every time a car went down the street. My next-door neighbor suggested a fake security cam, but I went with the 67 cent sign: Smile, You're on Camera. Also, it helped much, that the thieves were evicted. Yes, the culprits turned out to be the trash renters next door. When they got their eviction notice from the landlord, they called a salvage guy, and sold him the two air-conditioning units belonging to the house. On one side of us, a lovely family. On the other side, whatever people the LA owner decides to rent to.
