Ever see those movies where the low lying fog moves in a path through a grave yard? I figured out a cheap way of doing it. Just get some dowel rods painted black and some of the 8" package wrap, the stuff that looks like clear plastic wrap. Just use that to create your 1' wide path through your crave yard. My only concern is going to be lighting so it doesn't reflect too much of the light. I will be doing this here in the next couple of days. I will let you know how it goes. Just thought I would pass it on, if anyone else wants to try.

Interesting idea. I have my doubts because of the lighting (reflections) and it won't be "moving" like real fog. Let us know how it goes.

Lighting is my concern as well. I am worried about the reflections. My yard is on a slight decline so I am not terribly worried about the fog moving down the channel. I might need to put a computer fan to give it a little push. I might try to do this tonight. I wished I could have found black plastic but they didn't have any.

Here's a concept, as I brainstorm the idea of a "path" of fog....

Make a fabric sock, bottom side solid fabric, top side mesh or burlap. Wire coat hangers bent into a very long oval, tucked inside every foot or so to hold open the "sock". Pipe your fogger into it. As it flows down the sock, the fog starts to permeate up through the mesh or burlap, and a path of fog builds as the fog pushes down the path.

What about cheap spray paint once it is in place? You could also cover it with broadcloth (or any cheap fabric).

Place some el-cheapo black burlap over it as well.
