Hey all,
Trying to possibly buy a cheap projector on Amazon using my Prime so I can get it here in time. I've found a couple that look decent. The Optoma PT100 looks decent, but there is a newer Optoma PT105 with 20 more lumens and HDMI coming soon, so I thought maybe buy it, use it, return it and then get the newer one. I don't like to do that though.
There is another (http://www.amazon.com/Tursion-Projec...lp_edpp_ttl_in) that looks really good..although at $270 it's getting above my range.
I am curious what some of you may have got. I'd use this for my kids to play games on or watch movies too after the show, and I really like the small sized LED ones. Can something with 50 to 100 lumens project a decent enough pumpkin projection onto 3 pumpkins?
Thanks.

"so I thought maybe buy it, use it, return it" ???
My most stimulating conversations have been with dead things.

Was that a question.. or are you disgusted with my possible morals? I like to try expensive things to see if they live up to what they say before owning it..however in some cases, that isn't usually possible. It's kind of hard to look at using a $200 projector for a once a year prop for a few hours if it's not going to work. My point is, if I buy it, and it works great, I may keep it. If it's so so, but the newer version coming out is better, I'd return this, and buy the newer version (after halloween) so that next year and beyond I have it.
