This is my first static dummy that I've done, so please be kindI wore this costume last year and wanted to make a couple of dummy props from pvc. From the great tutorials here, I used the pvc/chicken wire dummy that I wrapped in a large jumpsuit and a straight jacket. The jacket was pretty tight, but I managed. I added LEDs to the eyes and with the tutorial on the easy motion sensor from the flood lights, I'll have a strobe on him. Sorry I didn't take any pics of the pvc/chicken wire process, but I'm sure you know what that entails.
Also working on a sitting prop, but not sure what clothes to use. I underestimate how large the frame is...nothing I have fits him. Also added from LEDs to the eyes and will have another motion sensor/strobe on him.
Truly a great forum that I've learned so much...glad to find and be a part of place that shares such a passion!

Couple of questions...
Any suggestions for clothing options for my unfinished sitting prop? Need a really large shirt...where do you guys find all your clothes for your props? I might just wrap him in some cheesecloth that I have.
Speaking of cheesecloth, I tried looking at the dollar store for some whitening detergent, but all of them said "contains no phosphorus" which I assume you need to glow under black light. Any alternatives to the RIT if I can't find that?

They look good....I like Goodwill or any thrift store for prop clothes. You can find shirts for $1 or so. A good cheap way to go.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback and advice! Just dropped off a bunch of stuff at a Goodwill donation center a coupe of weeks ago...now why didn't I think of that for shirts?
Never thought of Tide...we have that at home, so I'll give that a shot. Thank you so much again!
