I just received my brand new Chauvet 1300 today so I filled it up with some Froggy's and it just spits it out the other end..WTF!!
You can hear it click on and off and it heats up, however, it will only sputter and try to make fog or it will just shoot it out the other end.

Sounds like time for a quick RMA on a brand new fogger, I hate to say.

You waited about 15 mins for it to heat up I am guessing. When you say "other end" I assume you mean the same end the fog should come out? Does it feel warm at all after 15 mins or so? Can you open up the unit and look inside, see if maybe any wire is loose/fell off? When it's warmed up, it should feel warm somewhere around the unit.

Yes, I let the unit warm up and when you press the button for fog it just squirts out as a liquid instead of fog.
After being plugged in for about an hour or so it started to get warm and eventually hot(i would guess about 160 170F)and then it started sputtering/spraying liquid and an extremely small amount of fog...
The bad thing about it is I need a good fogger by Saturday

Continue to hold the button down for a while and see if the output improves. After reading your post, I went out and checked my Chauvet 1300 (not used since 2009). It sputtered initially, but eventually the output improved to normal.
Also, you might try using a thin wire to insure the nozzle isn't partially clogged.
Did you purchase either a wireless or wired remote for the unit?

The unit definitely is not clogged. It sprays fluid out about as fast as you can pour it in...
I bet the unit has warmed up for at least 3 hours with no luck...
I could have made more fog with my breath last night than this POS.
I didn't realize that chauvet's quality control sucked so bad..
Should have bought a VEI instead...

Oh It came with the wired remote....
As soon as you plug it in the green light is on as if its ready to produce fog...
After 20-30 min it finally gets hot, but not nearly hot enough to produce fog
