So since joining, I've been working on several props (much to the chagrin of my neighbors). Here is my first completely scratch built prop, ready to go:<a href="http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/sertified05/personal/?action=view&current=Mausoleum.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/sertified05/personal/Mausoleum.jpg" border="0" alt="Mausoleum"></a>
Now to finish the resident ghost!

Great build. Good detail on the stonework. Can't wait to see the finished product with resident specter.

I dont see a pic! Can you repost? Sounds like it looks great but for some reason I cant see it
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

Danke.
The facade is 1/2 ply with the grout lines dremeled in. I used a light grey primer for a base and then sprayed a darker grey over the grout lines. I then had a buddy put a thin line of black on the grout and then I followed up with a drybrushing of clear green acrylic for mossy/lichen effect. I'm going to do a sponge application of a light opaque green for a granite lichen look.
The whole thing is framed and skinned so that I can use it as a storage shed for my props after the season.
