Nothing very fancy and probably paid too much. Look for it on clearance at your local Walgreens on Nov 1st.
Used some jello pudding cups (fit perfectly in the eye sockets) and a 10 LED Christmas light unit from Dollar Tree. Was attempting an in-set "eye following" effect but didn't quite achieve it. Do I need to use something deeper or rounder than jello pudding cups in the eye sockets?
Skull side:
Skull front:
Unmodded skull lit with the C7 red bulb and socket it came with:
10 LED light unit from Dollar Tree:
Jello pudding cups (these fit perfectly in the eye sockets):
Drilled holes and inserted LED lights (skipped 2 LEDs to allow enough length):
Skull lit with modded LED eyes:
Also considering cutting a hole in the back and blowing fog through it. I tried filling the bottom of the skull with water and using an electric mister but it didn't generate enough fog to be noticeable. It does hold quite a lot of water, but those mister units never seem to work very well. Maybe multiple misters might work but I only have one.
Any other ideas how I could mod this?

Thanks Jolly Gorilla. The size of it reminded me of a Dark Ride / Amusement Park or Fun House. So I had to have it.
Some other ideas I had:
* Put a strobe light into it
* Fill bottom with water (like I did) but use dry ice to generate fog (this way the skull wouldn't have to be cut into)
* Use some sort of fog generation but put a red laser pointing out of each eye--leaving them on continuously or blinking / intermittently (as long as laser doesn't point at the sky or anyone's eyes)
* Have a red or green laser *vortex* come out of one or both eyes (as long as laser doesn't point at the sky or anyone's eyes)

Any other suggestions for modding? –

Anyone got any other suggestions for modding this skull? Could I get "light cones" to project out of the eyes without using two lasers? Would fog plus two other light sources work? What type of light source could I purchase locally (retail store) that might work for that?

painting the inside of the pudding cups with flat black paint would eliminate the "reflection" making the leds look further ie deeper in the skull.
