    Default My 2011 Yard Haunt: Neverest Cemetery – 10-24-2011,05:24 AM


    After years of wanting a yard haunt like those I've seen on this website, I decided to spend my week off from work creating "Neverest Cemetery". Pillars were made from a shell of 3/4" thick foam-core board with a 2x4 base for weight and covered in 1/2" thick sheets of pink styrofoam. The skull plaques on each pillar were purchased years ago on clearance at CVS Drugs. Fence was a garbage find that I reworked into 4 free-standing units that are staked into the ground. Tombstones are styrofoam. Coffin was an old movie prop that was donated to a local theater I work with. They had no use for it so they offered it to me. Scarecrow is a dollar-store find mask with some old clothes from a thrift shop. Pretty happy with the results. My only concern is that I may have to buy more trick-or-treater candy LOL.

    The Neverest Cemetery looks great. The boarded windows look perfect ,so do the vines/plants on the headstones .

    Looks fantastic! I appreciate all of the detail work you put in, like the brick on the column and the ivys/plants strewn throughout. Would love to see how it looks at night! Good job!
