Thread: (I Got A Rock) My Tribute To Peanuts And The Gang

I wanted to add the Peanuts Gang to the display but I also wanted to make it more interactive for the kids. My wife and I decided to build a carnival cutout of the gang so the kids can all get their candy and then head to the photo area for pictures. The plywood is 4ft by 8ft so its a large scene.

We still need to cut the three head holes out for their faces and also add the black paint fine detail lining around everything. You can see by the picture what it pretty much looks like so far. We will place this in the driveway surrounded by pumpkins and blow molds once completed. I just thought this was a great way to make tribute to Charlie and the Gang since so many of us have fond memories of Peanuts on Halloween. I will add more photos as this comes along.

Thanks Dave. Its fun sometimes to do a throwback style prop like a cutout. I cant wait to see what the little kids think of it.
