...would you all recommend for covering a 4X8 piece of Lowes insulation? I am making the photo op area for the party. This is the stuff covered in green paper, so the foam is not exposed. I want to paint it black. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I should think that just about any latex paint would work for it.

Lowes is currently clearancing-out their Valspar Signature Colors "Semi Gloss Blue Base #175404. A 29 oz can was reduced to under $6. Although the base is blue, they can add enough tint to make it black. The guy at the paint counter warned me that the blue might still be slightly visible, but it ended up very very black, with no hint of the original base color. One can was enough to cover one side of at least four sheets of 4x8' foam. I applied it with a foam (rather than napped) roller and it went on perfectly, with a very smooth finish.

If u peel off the clear plastic layer the paint will stick better. And I always use acrylic latex paint. The acrylic is what gives the elasticity.
