I just ran into the issue of switching to a new "type" of servo controller (for example, Pololu -> SSC32) unfortunately I now need to update ALL of my VSA routines.
I learned from John at Brookshire Software how to do this, which required a bit of math, so I created an Excel spreadsheet to help.
Now I want to share it with everyone, here it is:

I've included a set of instructions and drop-down boxes so you can select between numerous types of controllers.
Here's a preview:

Many Thanks Nelson. I'll have to expand my parallax board capacity for next year. I need VSA to control more servos than that board allows. I haven't done any research yet but might have to switch board brands and your program will be a great time saver. I did get an error message when trying to run it but it appears to work fine. I've got an antique licensed version of Excel. Thanks again for your effort.
My most stimulating conversations have been with dead things.

Your welcome.

I have lots of different types of boards for testing purposes and I will typically try different ones out for my actual Halloween display. This has saved me lots of time in the past.
Enjoy!
