Im getting a very late start on some new props this yr and was wondering if there is a way to hook up a remote switch to a shiatsu massager? Im very mechanically UNinclined and this is my first moving prop im working on. Any help would be appreciated

I'm not familiar with a shiatsu massager but if it's a simple household current off/on device, run an extension cord from the prop to your remote location. At your location, plug the extension cord into a cheap $3 power strip with a off/on switch and the power strip into a wall outlet. Activate your prop with the on/off switch on the power strip. ???

You can wire it to a remote trigger. Just supply power to the wireless board and wire the shaitsu to the relay. You still will need to plug the shaitsu into a power source so when you press the remote the relay trips supplying power to the massager by completing the circuit.

I use something like this on several of my props that run on household current - http://www.amazon.com/SVAT-WRC101-Wi.../dp/B000HAVVKG

Yea, I use those same wireless remotes similar to the one Halstaff posted.
You can find them in Lowe's in the Christmas section. I'll bet they are there now.

Cool wireless remotes. I wasn't aware they were available. What was the question again?
