Most of us have seen them. They are those flying ghosts and bats on string you tie to two objects and it "flys" between them. The problem is they are only sound activated and I was wondering if anyone ever tried to take them apart to disable that and force them to run all the time.

    For reference

Oh I have one for you. :-))
I took one of these and the gutted him. I took the small yard stake ghost from Michael’s arts and craft last year. And then this year... I took the large hanging ghost from the Walgreens and cut a hole in the top and bottom of the head and add the works from the smaller one. It looks GGGrrrrreat!!!!!!
Life size and moving around in the grave yard. I'll get my picture to post so you can see him I am very proud.

    OK I'll admit it....... ;-( I didn't pay attention.
When putting this together you should note the direction the motor run so you know where the front is. LOL
I notice that mine walked backwards LOL. so I lifted his skirt and scratched off the face and well then after looking at it I like the hole in the face (where the battery pack for the Wal-greens ghost was. It reminds me of the deep sea diver ghost and the phantom ghost from Scooby-Doo cartoons Oh sorry Animated adventures LOLOLOL

    Your ghost looks excellent, TNBrad!

Texmaster---I think some members have recently tried to make the new ghosts run all the time, but without much success. Seems they would go to the end of the rope, then just stop.
I have one that is about 6 years old from K-mart and I had just cut the wires off the sound sensor and soldered them together. It runs all the time, but really eats up the batteries.

Sounds like you want to step up to an Axworthy Flying Ghost. Totally worth it!!!!!
