I found one for 82 bucks and I need to put something together at the last minute. Did not want to spend a bunch on something but I can't really find anything else in the price range. Curious if this thing is really worth it. Plan on using a splitter to use my own speakers.

You might want to check it first. I got mine at Target last year on clearance. I was all ready to use a splitter because I read that it only had input for an MP3 player but no output. This model had an output too, and I believe it didn't cut off the internal speaker (you could turn the volume all the way down if you don't want to use it). I could be wrong about that, though. I didn't think it was all that great, but the effectiveness seems to depend on the music you use.

I love mine. Plugged in my MP3 player and the volume was very loud with decent quality. I did notice the volume has to be up for the lights to flash to music.

I just picked up one of these at Spirit for 50.00!!! I was so happy it was 130.00 last year. I really should have picked up 2. I set it up in my livingroom and it looked awsome!!
It was well worth the price.

I couldn't find a single Spirits locally that had any and they were 130.00. Were they already on clearance?

Hi Guys. I picked one up but I am having problems. I tried plugging in pumpkins and 2 of the channels are not working. Does every plugin on this thing have to be filled for it to work on all channels? Even when I set the timer to ALL ON those 2 channels don't work. I am going to try to fill all plugs but I think this is going back today. Going to be out luck this year for a light show.

No, you don't have to use all the outlets for it to work.
Sounds like you have two bad outlets on the box.

Appreciate the responses. I will just return it and put that money towards a lights-o-rama controller.
