Thanks to MadMax for his tutorial on this. This is my version of the Breathing Grave. I simplified mine by not attaching everything to the frame, the mechanical part is just staked in the ground and the frame with the burlap is then set on top. A couple of vent motors and a 1/2" wood dowel and some scrap wood and I had these two built in about 2 hours. It's a very impressive creepy look at night, especially with some colored lights and with the fog rolling over it. Coooooooooool! Thanks again Max!

Nice variation on the original!
In the last photo, what are those two long boards for? At first I thought maybe to hold the dowel up off the ground but then I see in your seventh picture you are using a couple of eye bolts to do that.

Great job! Max would be proud of you!
I think those two boards are for supporting the burlap (or cloth) cover.

Got any video of it in action?

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry no video (yet), I have to figure out how to do that here in the Forum. The two breathing graves have different stake setups. I only had two of the metal "eyebolt" stakes and had to use wood stakes for the second one. I think I'm going to replace the wood stakes with 1/2 inch PVC with tees on top to surround the wood dowel because I'm afraid I'm going to break everything apart when I pound the wood stakes into the ground. I think PVC will be easier to push into the ground. I'll post a video when I figure out how to do it.

I would like to see the movement, a good idea and design.
