So I used to be all jealous of you people and your grass yards that looked more like a graveyard then my zero scaping. But I gave it some thought and tried an idea. I think it looks great since it looks like the graves were just recently dug. What do you guys think?
Also, how should I go about coloring a lense on a low power led spotlight to give off a red or green light? Just spray it?

Can't help you with the spotlight question, but sweeping the graves bare looks great. If you could mound up just a bit of dirt over each grave, that would look even more authentic!

If the LED light doesn't get hot (melty hot, warm is fine), then you could use colored acetate sheets cut to fit and use rubber cement to attach (so it should be weather proof, but temporary).
You can get colored acetate from art supply stores, or possibly find colored sheets or transparent file folders in colors at office supply stores if you don't have a real art supply store...I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

Nevermind, I just tried something I've been meaning to try and its easy and cheap. I remembered I had a green sharpee laying around, found me a couple days to find it but I took the lenses out and colored them. Took all of 5 minutes and it looks great!
