update: got Dead-Eye Drake fixed & he is a cool prop. Missing the microphone. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks.

Got a used Dead Eye Drake Gemmy animated pirate & it is stuck in the collapsed storage position. No instructions & I cannot figure out how to release it so it pops up to full size. I've tried pulling & pushing the big button between the feet on the base but nothing happens (not even sure if that is what releases it, LOL). Please help! Thanks.

If it's a Gemmy, that big button between the feet is a "try me" button. If you gently lay the prop on it's side and look at the bottom of the base, you should see two large plastic type screws. You turn those just once or twice and they'll come out. These are used to lock the prop down. You should then be able to stand the prop back up and push down on the shoulders and your prop will then pop up. Be careful to keep your hands on the shoulders and not stand directly over the prop as they can sometimes pop up quickly and somewhat violently. You don't want it coming straight up into your face.
