Sorry, but I looked around and couldn't find any comments about this. Since the coffin I bought is more or less I would say, a newer fashion. What I mean is that it IS a Toe Pincher, but is not made of the wood pallet variety. There's trimming around the edges, and the handles are bars held with moulding. As much as I would love an OLD WEST style, Imma go with what I already have. SO, finally, the question: cheap casket handles. I want to know if there are any places people know of where I can get them cheap. I just keep finding real makers of REAL prices, ouch.

hit up Lowes or HD and take a look at cabinet hardware. You will probably find something pretty nice that will match the decor you have on the casket already and be strong enough to actually lift it by. or you could always drill a few holes in it, grab some of the "natural" looking 1" rope from Lowes and use that...

I recently purchased Stanley gate handles. They run about $5.90 each. They are at most hardware stores.

Here is a photo of my casket.

You can see the handles in the photo.

Yep, found that site already in my search. They are some sweet handles. Didn't know they were in Canada. I'm just going to go with some rope handles for now. Ya know after you get something ya really want, then realize when you use it, it just quite wasn't what you had in mind? Took my double doors off my coffin. Laid it flat on the floor. Gave it an eye level look for some ideas. noticed it was crooked shaped. Broke out the ruler,...kicking myself in the tookas. This coffin is sooo out of shape it's crazy. Far beyond what i'm willing and able to rapair so it's going to turn into an old beat er upper coffin. So upset. Should've just built it myself. Better luck next year huh.
