I bought the Gemmy Lifesize Witch with the Misting Cauldron from an ebay auction. It was advertised as the Rare one with the wireless mic. There is also a version available with no mic. When I received it there was no mic. After looking at it I wonder if it was even designed to use the mic. It arrived in a plain black box with the UPC label cut off. A picture of the witch with basic info was glued to the front of the box. The box did not mention a mic. The directions had a parts list, also no mention of a mic. If you look at the base of the witch there are two empty holes. One says Mic and the other says Aux (should be able to connect a CD player here). There is also a switch. One side for Sensor and the other side for Aux/Mic. Here is my question...If the mic is wireless then what are the empty holes for? Shouldn't there be a jack there to plug in the CD player at least? If anyone ACTUALLY has one of these and can help please respond. I cannot use suppositions as I am in the middle of a battle with ebay and the seller. I had just had surgery and did not get to assemble the product or even open the box until after a week. The seller had a 3 day return policy so I am losing fast. They keep saying the correct model was shipped to me. I need some ammunition to prove this is NOT the correct model. Thanks for any info you have on this product.

don't have any personal experiance with this prop, but look for a model number on the prop...bottom of the feet/stand, somewhere normally unseen. Plug that sucker into google and make sure it matches the wireless model number.
Not sure if this helped or not but I wish you well in rectifying this!!

I have one with a wireless microphone.
Let me tell you, I just sold a bunch of stuff on ebay, and ebay is in the BUYERS corner at all times. The seller sent you a product without an item included. If is was in the listing, and you did not receive it, you get a refund, period.
I am gonna go right now and dig mine out-

Danny, there is NO product number on anything. that is the problem. Thanks anyway.
Hollow, I really just want the correct product. Not a refund. I cannot buy this product anywhere for what I paid them. But can you look at yours and see if on the base there are those 2 holes? Mine are just empty, no jack or anything. There are the holes for the AC adapters. But no jacks on the holes for "Mic" or "Aux". What does yours look like inside those holes?

I will describe my witch base: On the left side, if you had the witch's back at you, is a volume button, an empty round MIC hole, and an AUX hole with a silver jack inside.
On the right side, there is a 24 V 20VA electrical plug in, a Try Me plug in with a silver jack, a 9V 2000mA plug in with a silver jack inside, and a slide button that you can slide from ON to SENSOR to MIC/AUX

Thanks guys. I think they probably use a generic base for all the witch models and then add the jack to the one with the mic. My base sounds just like yours, Hollow, except as you can see on mine the Aux hole is empty just like the Mic hole. I wonder if I bought a wireless mic and tried it just to be sure....??? But my instructions did not include any info about the mic. Thanks for the product numbers. I think that will help also. I am hoping to have a final determination from ebay today. Sheila, too bad yours doesn't work right any more. I wish I had a suggestion for you. Hopefully someone else may be able to help. Was it working when you got it?

Update on ebay case. They did back me, as you suspected they would. In my favor was the fact that I have been an active ebay member for over 9 yrs with nothing but outstanding reviews. The seller cannot say as much. The good news is I am getting a full refund plus shipping costs. The bad news is I really need this witch for my display and cannot find one for anywhere near what I paid on ebay. In fact, I am having a hard time finding one with the mic anywhere at all. BuyCostumes.com has one but it is $230 plus shipping. EEEK!!!! I only paid $144 including shipping for the last one. Anyone know where I can find another one for less than $200? Thanks again for all your help and support. The information you provided helped me to be better armed in my dispute.
