so i was in charge of a swamp and funhouse at my local small haunt.. so the swamp is ok,, i wont lie the funhouse was my baby.. they dubbed the maze a theme and they made me take it down... next year my precious.. any way to really vamp up my swamp, a weird ideal.. i won a lot of coiled snakes one ebay.. so i am a fan of people getting stuff in their hair, or at least somthing touching it. so with a 2x4 board, wrap it in some of the netting cloth from the dollar tree, then as the snakes are coiled i am gonna staple their tails and let them spiral down. hanging it low enough to nudge there head..

i know this is not a great scare but again i put all my time in the funhouse letting the swamp have tons of black lights and more actors giving them a jump scare... heck any help on making a good swamp scene, i have lots of bamboo,"toxic barrels" with black light toxic, i have severed torsos hanging over the barrel(got them a party city) also got a metal barral with a tree shaker in the bottom with a censor that shakes the metal on concrete and creates a good effect.. again any help.. on anything

To be honest, your post is kind of hard to follow. I'm not really sure what it is you are asking. Sorry...

How about some creepy plants for your swamp - man-eating plant with body parts, eyeball plants, etc?

Kids will pull on the snakes, so secure the snake tails well. Maybe use a 1.5" roofing nail with a big head?

And, since you like the touchy-feely theme... is there a place that people have to funnel through?...like a hallway? If so, you can go the ankle-biter route with stuff touching them about 6" off the floor: either with compressed air & 12" long hoses flopping around or secure 12" coat hanger wire to the walls & cover them with scraps of garden hose. Don't forget the sewer rat sounds (I taped a segment from the old Willard horror movie for this).

Well, if you're in a "Swamp" theme, definitely build a DIY Fog chiller, if you haven't already, that will give it that eerie swamp effect you see so often. As FearingtonHouse stated above me, if you have something people are funneling though, that has a roof, i've had good experience with hanging fishing wire from the ceiling, as people will get it wrapped around themselves, and it really gives the feel of a spider web, which freaks everyone out, combine this with a large spider, and maybe some other traces of said spider in other areas of the swamp, and you've created an atmospheric scare, that couples with a big bang at the end. (Long-term goal of an animatronic spider that will leap out of the fog towards the crowd?)

i have some fake silk trees, got a goodwill yesterday, trying to make them man eaty as possible, it so far looks like a corpese tree, lol.. i have a ground fogger, hate to sound dumb, but not sure what a fog chiller is but will look up, also with the blacklight theme, i have hi vis fishing line mixed with normal line hanging from a chicken wire cocoon thing i got off of this site, sorry dont remember the poster to credit him. not big enough for a decent type wall way. i was lucky enough to score some big snakes like party city has on CL. love the funnel idea... I probably could try to do a hallway, but the trail is already going and would not have time.
