I am trying to reduce space in my haunt. I have been working on some entrance columns and I believe these will be the main focus of my fence. I already have PVC fencing done, but if anyone has any ideas as to how to mount the fencing (without digging holes in the ground) I would appreciate the suggestions. I wanted to use 4x8s, but it seems I will have to do some digging to get them to stand. I have also, rebar in mind, but once again if you have any good ideas please let me know.

    Happy Halloween!

Rebar all the way. Just cut it into 2-3 foot sections and pound it into the ground. If you went with 1/2" PVC it should just slide right over the top. I send some short drywall screws through the PVC at an angle and into the rebar to 'lock' the fence so it doesn't pull up.

So do you use any "in between" columns?? Or do you stick with just fencing and rebar??

    Thanks!

Considering how large our cemetery gate will be, we're pounding post spikes into the ground. We built the cores of our pillars with 4x4 plastic post covers to slide over the post.

What is the cost in doing this? I check out HD and it was getting pricy fast! Any websites/suggestions to reduce cost?
