Thread: Wiper motor quick connect?

Do I need to buy the quick connect for the wiper motor on monster guts? Or is there any other way of connecting it besides soldering it? I dont know how to do that and I dont have a solder gun anywhere here. Also with a 12v 5amp power supply which one would I need to order? The 2.5x5.5 or the 2.1x5.5 connect?

What type of power supply do you have ? Does it have screw terminals or a plug for the output? If you could post a picture of the power supply that would help

I really just want to be able to plug everything in and have an easy breakdown after halloween. Is the size that I am not sure of to get with the quick connect. On monster guts it has two sized listed so I just need to know what size to buy with my wiper motor.

What is the size of the plug on the 12 volt end? You can measure the diameter of the plug and make your decision from there. The alternative is to cut the plug off of the 12 volt end, and put spade lugs on the ends,then hook them up according to the diagram on Monster Guts. You will have to figure out which is Pos. and which is Neg. on the power supply.

Thanks! I wont know that until the adapter gets there though. I'll have to guess and take a chance I think.
