New to the site, going to share some of my projects. This is the first Halloween that I will be home in the last 3 years I've been out of town. I decorated but didn't get to enjoy the scare process on Halloween night.

All my projects are made to look as lifelike as possible. The tombstones are made using concrete and rebar. I use long rebar that comes out the bottoms to hold the stones upright in the yard. I lift them up and drop them in place and the rebar goes in like a knife thru butter. The last stone I made is the heaviest, I used about 120 lbs of concrete.

The fence is your typical 1X2 and PVC pipe. Currently have four 8 foot sections and one 4 foot section. The columns are made of 2x4 and plywood and a few styrofoam decorations fastened on. I plan to add some lights on top if I can find decent ones cheap enough.

Any questions or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

New addition to the graveyard, not a tombstone but he will be filling up the yard:

Looking good! Nice space to work with. I really like your stones! Excellent finish and detail!

The colums and fencing this year, every year I put the stones in different places. I added some wooden crosses to help fill the space. Next year I swear to start whipping out some more headstones earlier to fill the "dead" space.

The foam was attached with drywall screws and I caulked around it to prevent rain from getting behind it then the painted and primed it all to match:

The concrete has a limestone apperance. Limestone tombstones were very common here in the late 1800s. Now they look just like what you have in your yard.

guess you won't have to worry about anyone stealing them... just maybe a hernia from moving them...
    They look great!

Thanks for posting the pics....I like the idea of that second one...I already figured out how to make a base for it. That's the next one on my list.

@Kevin...If they want to steal them, they better bring a wheel barrow. That's how I transport them from the back yard to the front. The lightest one is about 65lbs.
