I have one of those body bag props with the shaking head that sticks out of the top of the bag. Last year the motor in it stopped working & I would really like to find a cheap replacement motor so that I can get it going again. I know NOTHING about motors. My dad has a good idea of what I need, but he's not very Internet savy. He looked on ebay, but he didn't see a motor that will work. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for a good price? There is a picture & description of the prop in the link below. I believe it requires some type of spinning motor, but again I know NOTHING about motors.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Well there is a surplus store that a lot of haunters use to find motors.
Be certain to get a continuous duty motor as the other ones will shut down because of heat, and then once they cool off they run again.
What is the model number, make, voltage, amps, & RPM's on the motor from the prop?
Here is the link to the online store. https://www.surpluscenter.com/electr...tname=electric

It had a weight that went around & around to make it shake. Apparently the drive gears just wore out.

It was just a cheap plastic shaking motor. The information that you are talking about was not even listed on it. It only says 6 volt dc.

I don't have the motor with me right now. My dad has it. What is a Bumble ball?

A bumble ball might be just the ticket. That's one of those small plastic balls with batteries in it that shakes when you turn it on. It's a baby toy. Or maybe a toddler toy.
Here's an old thread where they talked about them: bumble ball
Looks like they are used more for pets now. No wonder I haven't been able to find them in the toy sections of stores.
