The following are excerpts from local media sources:
Eleven caskets, some containing human remains, have emerged recently on the east bank of the reservoir near Cheshire Cemetery's former site in Delaware County.
Ten wooden coffins, a steel vault and the remains of seven people have been recovered along the edge of the Alum Creek Reservoir, the Army Corps of Engineers announced Friday.
The caskets surfaced last week near the site of the Old Cheshire Cemetery, which was relocated during construction of the Alum Creek Dam in the 1970s.
Remains estimated to be more than 100 years old were found in six of the caskets.
This isn't the first time cemetery remains have surfaced at Alum Creek. In 1991, a fisherman walking along the water found a concrete burial vault.

I wanted to share one of my props we displayed this past weekend at a "Halloween" campout. The campground is located across the resevoir from the former Cemetery location.[IMG][/IMG]

That just looks so dang awesome! Love the detail and the simplicity of it!
Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
