So the last 3 years I have proudly displayed my haunted mansion for the tots.



Well, I moved over the summer and the mansion just wasnt going to work for the new house so after careful contimplation, I figured Pirates was the way to go. So had to start from scratch and isnt as grand as I was hoping due to my budget. But wanted to share what I have and get some feed back. Here is what I got...

Looks cool to me! I like the pirate with the cannon and the drawbridge.

Very nicely done! I like how you did the pilings, tied with rope and draped with netting. Nice way to establish the nautical theme.

I remember seeing your Haunted Mansion facade in one of the older threads. You also had a drop-panel door, right?

Yup, good memory! Still using it. Its morphed tho (re-used what I could from the mansion). Here is the door resurected ad a prison door. Not complete yet, but the bars will drop this year.

Looks good u might want to add a treasure chest. There is a thread to make one for $7.

Nice! I'm adding a PoTC theme in addition to my Haunted Mansion theme this year too. I'm working on that same prop of the skull and swords. Just started list night...always seems like I add stuff last minute. Great job on the skull! What are you using to control it?
