I am currently working on a flying crank ghost but am stumped as to what fishing line to get. I can't exactly go to a store with a blacklight and go down the aisle testing it. I've heard mention of green line but is that any fishing line that is green? Was wondering if anyone out there knew the answer to this cause I would like to get her strung up but like any good puppet master I don't want people to see the strings.

I just bought regular old fishing line and it doesn't glow. Might want to pick up some generic clear line and take it home for a test if you can't take in a blacklight... chances are pretty good that it will be okay.

I used "Spiderwire - stealth braid" from Walmart. It is completely invisible in front of 2-48" uv's. https://picasaweb.google.com/1037018...67592138131442.

Spider Wire finishing line is extremely strong and nearly invisible. When you work with it, like when you're trying to tie a knot, you can't see it at all and you feel like a mime.

That said, for my FCG I use the thick, multi-stranded nylon string (it's about as thick as pencil lead). I dip it in flat black paint, squeeze the excess off and let it dry. It's very tough, quiet through the pulleys and 10' away you can't see it.

My choice is Spider Wire. I've seen it as high as 85 lbs test. Is dark geeen, doesn't stretch, and is almost impossible to see in the daylight, let alone in the dark.
