I just came back from Walmart and saw that they are now selling cornstalks for $11.99 a bunch. My cell phone was dead or I would of taken a picture but it was a good stack and I would probably need 2 stacks for my yard but just thought I would share. I am going to go tonight and pick some up.

NEVER buy cornstalks from stores! Last year, an extremely generous local farmer provided 350 cornstalks for my display...for free. Of course, we buy corn from them all the time, but it was a very nice offer.

Same here. I just got a full truck load for nuthin'. Just cuz I'm a nice guy. I think.

Anyhoo... it was free.

Florida does not have many corn farms, but we do have plenty of Walmarts.

We have no gators in Idaho.

That is a rip! Our Home Depot was charging $7 something. They grow it all over here and it should not cost that much!

Most of the gators here are eaten with a little salt & pepper.

That's how we Idahoans eat our tators.

Same here! If we want cornstalks, we are at the mercy of retailers.
