back to the original topic - time2dive was looking for brighter spotlights --- I'd like to give everyone a sneak peek at the new LED pinspot we're going to launch this year - the NEW Precision X micro spotlight. Same tiny packaging as our original Precision X but over 3x the output, available for the 2012 season in 7 colors: R,G,B,A,CW,WW,UV. I dare say this is probably the brightest spotlight of its size class built for the haunt market.

Ive been looking at Darklight for about a year now, just waiting to take the plunge. Im not really sure which model Im going to go with. Im looking for a blue flood and a green flood, but could very easily see myself liking the floods and getting a bunch of different lights. Ive done my research online and I really think before I order anything Im just going to have to visit you guys at MHC. Cant wait to stop in say hey!
On another note, its really cool to see a vendor stop in and really plug their product. Look, these guys dedicate time, money, and various resources to get a product out there that we as haunters, home and otherwise will enjoy. I love that! Would love to see other vendors start dropping in.
while it's advantageous to us as a vendor to promote our products on the forum, it's against the policy on this channel to straight-up plug a product since then the board would probably be flooded with all sorts of "spam" =\ However, if the topic was started by a user who is purely asking questions about a product, it is ever helpful for the pertaining vendors to step in and respond with recommendations. I'm sure there are mods watching this thread so I hope I haven't crossed any boundaries between promotion and simply answering questions and recommending solutions.
We have a big year planned ahead --- Transworld in St. Louis is right around the corner and we're working 18 hour days to develop these new products for the 2012 season. We'll also be at HauntCon, WCHC, MHC, and a few other non-Halloween trade shows. Please stop by and mention the forum when you come say hi!
cheers =)

awesome, thank you for your business! We shipped out the Z and the power supply, the Alpha fixtures are coming in from our factory next week and we'll be able to get that out to you shortly.
One thing I want you to try out when you get both the Z and Alpha running side by side: take an object with multiple colors (such as a colorful photo or a rubik's cube) and shine the Precision Z Blue on it vs. the Precision Alpha with a deep blue filter. Immediately you'll notice the difference:
The Precision Z Blue is a much more powerful "wash" fixture --- it will emit a very strong and saturated blue to make your object pop out, however it will also wash out the colors on the object. This is useful if you have a single prop that you want to highlight with a strong color (perhaps for a scare)
The Precision Alpha with a blue filter will give a much SOFTER blue output and will "tint" your object instead of washing out the colors. You'll still see many of the original colors. This is more of a "theatrical" fixture and works really well if you have very detailed and colorful set pieces.
All in all: Precision Z is great for scares or popping objects out, Precision Alpha is great for highlighting detailed scenery.
We're getting a lot of interest for the Alpha fixtures from many haunts who have lots of set detail and colorful displays.
